Several hundred dollars worth of electronics, as well as a pistol and cash, were stolen during a break-in at a home on Edwards Street in Union City.

A Lake County man wanted on a felony child rape charge was arrested Friday night in Fulton County, Ky.
David Bradley Hopper, 30, of Tiptonville was arrested after the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department was contacted by the Lake County Sheriff’s Department, according to a news release from the Fulton County sheriff’s office.
Fulton County authorities were contacted about 9 p.m. by Lake County authorites in reference to a suspect with a pending felony child rape charge allegedly being at a residence in Fulton County. Deputies responded to the home in the south end of the county on State Route 2134, where they located the suspect and took him into custody without incident. Read More ...

Motorcyclist injured

A Fulton man was injured when a car collided with his motorcycle Monday evening in Martin.
Melvin Harrison of Fulton sustained extensive injuries to his lower body and was flown by Air Evac to an area hospital for treatment, according to a Martin Police Department press release.
