Most golfers would be pleased with a single hole-in-one. One local golfer has a handful of aces.
Martin resident Walter Nanney recorded a hole-in-one while golfing Sept. 19 at Persimmon Hills Golf Course in Sharon. It was the fifth hole-in-one of Nanney's golfing career.
Nanney's ace came when he used a No. 8 iron to cover the 152-yard distance on the Par 3 No. 8 hole.
His shot was witnessed by fellow golfers Kerry Killebrew, Billy Stout and David Campbell. |
